I found this painting while cleaning out my inventory. The parents never paid for the painting, so now it’s headed to the annual Black Warrior Review Auction at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.
The family that commissioned this was nice and the kids were awesome, but this painting, detached from its proper context, is damned creepy.

Listening to Robert Fripp interviews and the main thing I’m getting from him is practice practice practice, so I practiced drawing a frog.
In other news, Robert Fripp is my new speaking hero. That guy is eloquent beyond all eloquence.
Doing lots of wacom work since my studio’s not yet set up. Getting comfy with that there size jitter!
I’m a big ginger beer fan.
